Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation is actively engaged in community philanthropy through partnerships with charitable organizations to improve the quality of life throughout the Yampa Valley.

The Yampa Valley Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization that promotes local philanthropy, convenes community initiatives, and supports local nonprofit organizations. Currently the Community Foundation houses over 130 funds. The Board of Trustees and staff of the Community Foundation continually form partnerships, advocate solutions and allocate resources to set the stage for a better tomorrow for all the citizens of the Yampa Valley.

The Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club (SSWSC) has played an integral part in the development of young athletes by providing the support, experience and encouragement that they need in order to achieve their Olympic dreams. In fact, the Winter Sports Club is one of the oldest and most recognized ski clubs in the United States and was named the United States Ski & Snowboard Association's Club of the Year a number of times.

The mission of the Yampa Valley Sustainability Council (YVSC) is to provide leadership to advance environmental, economic, and social sustainability for current and future generations through education, programs, and building collaboration among individuals, organizations, businesses, and government.

Routt County United Way provides a united effort to anticipate the health and human service needs of our community and to raise and allocate financial resources to help meet these needs through member agencies.

The Community Agriculture Alliance (CAA) is a Colorado incorporated, non-profit community organization serving Routt County and the Yampa River Valley. The CAA was established in 1999 to ensure that the agricultural community can adapt to changes in the local and regional economy and still be active and vital in the Yampa River Valley for generations to come.

STeamboat Adaptive Recreational Sports (STARS) provides recreational opportunities for people with disabilities, resulting in empowering and enriching the quality of life for its participants. Founded in 2006, STARS served 265 guests, offering 809 lessons with 71 instructors and 121 volunteers this past winter! STARS works with Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, Sunshine Kids, KVC and Horizons for adaptive skiers participating in programs. STARS also partnered with another adaptive organization to run ski and snowboard camps.

The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) was created in 1964 to promote health, prevent disease and provide home health, public health and hospice services to residents of the Yampa Valley. VNA strives to improve the quality of life for all residents of Northwest Colorado regardless of age or economic circumstance by providing comprehensive health services. Our focus on community health and aging services, including home care, hospice, and assisted living at The Haven, is a comprehensive approach to health improvement that views health as a state of well-being and the capacity to function in the face of changing circumstances.

Strings Music Festival presents innovative programs of distinctive classical and popular contemporary music in an intimate and friendly setting to audiences of all ages, enhancing the cultural, educational and entertainment experiences of the community of Northwest Colorado and its visitors. A nationally recognized music festival, presents over 70 performances of chamber music, jazz, rock, country, bluegrass, world rhythms, and many other genres every summer since 1988. Artists include Grammy winners and nominees, major competition winners and principal players from the most renowned orchestras.
