VIEWING PARTY LOCATIONS FOR THE WINTER GAMES
February 12-28, 2010

Catch the coverage of the 17 Steamboat Olympians competing in Vancouver, or better yet, watch from the base of the mountain every day at the Bear River Bar and Grill or at the large Jumbotron in Gondola Square by One Steamboat Place. The Bear is featuring Happy Hour drink prices from 3:30 - 5:30pm and Olympian food specials each day from now until the Closing Ceremonies on February 28th. SPRINT TORCHLIGHT PARADE & FIREWORKS
February 14, 2010

Don't miss the trail of torches lighting up the mountain as members of the Steamboat Ski & Snowboard School parade down the mountain on February 14th, 2010. The view is great from both the base of the mountain or even from downtown, but the best viewing is from Gondola Square at the base of the ski area starting at 7pm.


VALENTINE'S DAY AT THE CABIN

DESPERADOS TORCHLIGHT PARADE

The young ones get a chance to ski down the mountain and join in the excitement as a special finale to the Desperados Ski Week program.


TELEMARK WORLD CUP
February 21-23, 2010

See the best Telemark skiers battle the mountain and each other during three days of competition in Steamboat Springs including a giant slalom run and two sprint races. The February race will mark the first Telemark World Cup in Colorado. Steamboat itself can lay claim to many of the team's top athletes including: four local skiers on the eight-member "A" team, including Lorin Paley, Ben Paley, Charlie Dresen and local coach Shane Anderson.


NCAA WESTERN REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS
February 26-27, 2010

Steamboat will host the 2010 NCAA Division I Western Regional Championships featuring the best collegiate skiing athletes in the Rocky Mountain Region. Classical and Freestyle Nordic races as well as Slalom will be decided at historic Howelsen Hill and the Giant Slalom will take place on Mount Werner. A month later, Steamboat Springs will also host the NCAA Championships, March 10-13th, for the sixth time.
