We've created deep discounts on airfare, lodging, lift tickets, Ski & Snowboard School, racing, on-mountain dining and activities. Steamboat Ski & Sport rental shops offer groups of 15 or more renters discounted rates with savings up to 30% based on group size. Purchase 25 adult lift tickets of same type and start date and the 26th is free!
Mountain Tours
Our friendly Ambassador staff offers free mountain tours daily at 10:30am. Your guide will show you around the mountain, and give you the "local" knowledge you need to enhance your experience from the start.
Ski with Olympians Billy Kidd and Nelson Carmichael
Join Steamboat's Director of Skiing, Billy Kidd, and Nelson Carmichael for free pointers and a run down the mountain.
Western BBQ in the Evening
Ride the Gondola up to Thunderhead Lodge for an incredible all-u-can-eat buffet dinner featuring prime rib, ribs, chicken, turkey and salmon with all the fixings. Then top off the evening with the dessert bar and dancing to a country-western band.
Bashor Race Area Picnic Pavilion
After racing, join us for a picnic. Our outdoor deck space has gas heaters and grills. It can accommodate groups of 25 to 200+ people. This picnic area is accessible to skiers and riders only. The Picnic Pavilion is specifically designed for private group functions.
Beyond the Mountain
The Champagne Powder™ snow and fabulous skiing and snowboarding that have made Steamboat famous are backed up by an abundance of activities for all to enjoy. Steamboat offers activities from snowmobiling to rides in a hot air balloon. When you're done, sample more than 100 restaurants and bars, and then take a dip in the restorative waters of our namesake mineral hot springs.
