2008 Steamboat "Lodging Partner" Contest Official Rules

Eligibility:
This contest is sponsored by the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, 2305 Mount Werner Circle, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487. The contest is open to legal residents of the United States 18 years of age and older who hold legal title to those lodging properties whose units are enrolled in Steamboat's Partner Program, except employees, representatives or agents of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, subsidiaries and/or affiliates, and their respective advertising agencies, public relations agencies and family members with whom those employees, representatives or agents reside. Contest is subject to all Federal, State and Municipal laws and regulations. All sweepstakes are void where prohibited or restricted. Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend the contest should virus, bugs or other causes beyond its control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the contest.

How To Enter:
No purchase is necessary to enter. To enter, go to the official partner entry form (www.steamboat.com/partnerscontestentryform) and follow all the directions. Registration for the Steamboat Lodging Partner contest will begin at 12:00:01 PM MT on Monday, January 14, 2008 and will end at 11:59:01 PM MT on Sunday, January 20, 2008. Entries received after this time will be determined ineligible and will be discarded. Prizes will be randomly awarded at or around 12:00:01 PM MT on Monday, January 21, 2008. Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation will not be responsible or liable for incomplete, lost, stolen, illegible, or misdirected email or for failure to receive entries due to transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including without limitation, electronic malfunction of any network, hardware or software. One entry per person; multiple entries or mass or mechanically generated entries will be disqualified. More than one entry from any one person or email address will void all entries from that person or email address. Enter using only an email address subscribed and registered in the account holder's name. In the event of a dispute, all email entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the email account from which they were sent. All entries become property of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation and none will be returned. Contest is void where prohibited by law. Winners will be chosen by random selection from all valid entries. Entries must be received by 11:59:01 AM MT on Sunday January 20, 2008, in order to be eligible. Odds of winning are dependent on number of valid entries received, but will not be greater than 1:3000.

Prizes:
One (1) prize winner will win two (2) one (1) day adult lift tickets valid during the 2007- 2008 ski season at Steamboat plus a Steamboat gift basket. The approximate retail value of the prize is three hundred dollars ($300.)

Prizes are non-transferable. Only the listed prize will be awarded and no substitutions or full or partial cash redemptions will be allowed, except as determined in the sole discretion of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation.

Winning and Notification:
Winner will be notified via email within one week of the drawing. Winner may waive his or her right to receive a prize. No cash or other substitution is allowed, except that prize and individual components of prize awards are subject to availability. Rights to receive a prize are nonassignable and nontransferable. All prizes claimed will be awarded. By their acceptance of any prize, all winners consent to the use of their name and/or contest entry by Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation for advertising and promotional purposes and waive any claim to royalty, right or remuneration for such use. All contest and prize decisions made by Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation are final.

In the event that the contest winner cannot be reached within one week of the date of the selection, or in the event that the contest winner is ineligible to win the contest, or declines or waives his or her right to receive the prize, Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation will choose another winner by random selection from all valid entries and notify that winner that he or she is the contest winner in the same manner provided above, and that he or she is subject to all of the terms and conditions of the contest and these rules.

Winner:
The names of the winner may be obtained by sending a self addressed stamped envelope to Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, 2305 Mount Werner Circle, Steamboat Springs, CO 80487. Attn: 2008 Lodging Partner Sweepstakes.

Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation respects the importance of your privacy. Please refer to the privacy policy located at www.steamboat.com/privacy for information about how we use the information you provide to us.

Permission to use Email Address:
By entering the sweepstakes, you accept and give permission to Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation to add your email address to the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation database of email addresses. You may on occasion receive email from Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation but will have the option to opt out of receiving further communications from Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation.

General Release:
By entering the 2008 Lodging Partner Contest, entrants release Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation, their affiliates, subsidiaries, participating partners, advertising or promotions agencies, employees, officers, agents, directors and the immediate family and household members of the above, and each of their respective affiliated companies, directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the 2008 Lodging Partner Contest or with the acceptance, possession, or use of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injury or death, damage to, loss or destruction of property or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light). Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation reserves the right to verify that the winners are eligible and qualified to receive their prize.

Taxes and Prize Substitution:
All federal, state, and local taxes on the Prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. No substitutions or other alternative is available except that Steamboat may substitute a prize of equal or greater value should a featured Prize become unavailable. Any person winning more than $600 in prizes from Steamboat will receive an IRS form 1099 at the end of the calendar year and a copy of such form will be filed with the IRS.

The conduct of this sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of Colorado. Participants agree that any and all claims and causes of action arising out of this sweepstakes shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action, exclusively by arbitration in Denver, Colorado and all claims shall be limited to out-of-pocket costs incurred and shall in no event include attorney's fees.
