Steamboat Springs SheRide Snowboard Camp
March 7-9, 2009
For the first time ever the Sheride Snowboard Camp comes to Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Achieve your riding goals with help from SheRide coaches in a positive and welcoming environment. Take a vacation, come out riding with the girls and experience the unbelievable joy that SheRide Snowboard Camp offers you.
Steamboat Camp Cost is $950.00
Includes:
- 3 Days Coaching

Camp Schedule:
Friday Night
Arrival and Check in at The Lodge at Steamboat. 8pm - 9:30 Wine and Cheese Welcome at The Lodge at Steamboat Club House. Say hi, check equipment, etc.
Ask about special women's only Powder Cat Tour.
Saturday
8:00 AM Meet in Lobby of The Lodge, and trudge over to The Round-Up Room at the ski area
Round-up room will be our base for the 3 days, and is located on the 3rd level of the plaza, across the bridge entrance from the transportation center, in between the sharp shooters Powder Tools. We can leave our extra stuff in here for the day each day.
Intros - coaches and students: Stance, bindings, and board check (coaches will make sure everyone's gear is set up properly - it gets us off to slightly slower start this first morning, but much better than attempting it on snow).
9:00 AM Groups head out with Coaches for morning session.
12:30 Meet for Lunch (specifics to follow shortly)

1:30 Head out with Coaches for afternoon session.
4:00 Last lift.
Reconvene in Round-up room
Post ride stretch, hi-fives, etc. We can adjust gear at this time as well

Sunday
8:15AM - 8:30AM meet at The Round-Up Room
Assigning of coaches for the morning
Any equipment, heel lift (in boots) issues can be addressed. If you're having equipment issues arrive at 8
9AM Head out and ride
12:30 Meet for lunch (specifics to follow shortly)

4:00 PM Last lift, reconvene Elk in Round-up Room for Video Analysis, post ride stretch, tales of greatness, high - fives, etc.

2 - 4 ride with your individual groups and coaches
Round-up Room Post ride hi-fives, stretch, get your SheRide T-shirts if you haven't already. Get all your gear cause we're outta here.
Grand Finale Group Dinner with coaches and SheRiders at Rex's, sponsored by SheRide. Feasting, toasting, and much celebration! Raffle of cool stuff and, fun, fun, fun!! Plan on attending this event so we can celebrate the special time we've spent together, and of course, to win stuff. Everyone wins something for nothing, and can buy extra tickets. All proceeds from the raffle go to SOS Outreach
Stuff to Have with You
- Waterproof pants
- Waterproof Jacket
- Waterproof mittens or gloves
- Goggles
- Sun glasses
- Long underwear tops and bottoms
- Hat or Helmet (Helmet is the smart choice!)
- Snowboard boots, board, and bindings that you like (if you don't have equipment - rentals available - details above)
- Neck gator!!
- For Beginners: A "crash pad" for the bottom is great, and also wrist guards like those used for roller blading.
