Steamboat's Terrain Parks & Pipes
Steamboat strives to offer different levels of heart-pounding excitement to skiers and riders through four different terrain parks. Steamboat’s signature Mavericks terrain park, serviced exclusively by its own chairlift, consists of terrain and features spread across 14 acres, an outdoor music system and Mavericks Superpipe, a 450-foot long, 56-foot wide super beast. Just around the corner sits Rabbit Ears the intermediate terrain park with numerous features and jumps preparing you for bigger features. Lil’ Rodeo Park is a friendly base area beginner park popular with kids of all ages and typically is the first of the resort’s parks to open.
Steamboat's terrain parks are easily accessed by two chairlifts, Christie Peak Express and Bashor Chairlift which means more runs for fun!

Lil' Rodeo Terrain Park
Start small with the Lil' Rodeo Terrain Park. Lil' Rodeo is your first step to mastering park riding with ride-on features and mini features.
With visibility from the base area, your friends and family can watch you easy style it.

Rabbit Ears Terrain Park
Progress your park riding in the intermediate Rabbit Ears Terrain Park.
There is something for everyone to help you reach the next step in park riding, from jibs to jumps, rails to boxes...start your own progression session.
- Location: Just off of Christie Peak Express, take Main Drag or Boulevard to Big Foot to put you in Rabbit Ears Terrain Park
- Type: Jumps, rails, boxes, jib features.
- Level: Small & Medium

Mavericks Terrain Park
Take your freestyle riding to the next level in Mavericks Terrain Park.
The largest features on the mountain will push your riding to that next level and with a variety of log, rails, boxes and jumps you have plenty of features to play with all day.
- Location: Just off Christie Peak Express, take Jess' Cut-Off to Bear Claw to get into Mavericks Terrain Park.
- Type: Jumps, rails, log jibs, boxes.
- Level: Medium & large

Mavericks Superpipe
Steamboat's Mavericks Superpipe is built with our state of the art Zaugg 18-foot monster superpipe cutter which makes for a smoother landing in the pipe and guarantees more hits during your run.
