50th Anniversary Torchlight Parade and Fireworks Display
The finale for this special day begins at 5:15pm with the lighting of the 50th Cauldron by Steamboat’s Director of Skiing and 40+ year employee, Billy Kidd. Torches then light up the slopes as the resort simultaneously sends three torchlight parades down the trails of Vogue, See Me and Lower Valley View.
The night sky comes alive with the BIGGEST fireworks display in resort history immediately following the parade. With two launch sites, this explosive fireworks show, choreographed to special musical arrangement, will run approximately 18 minutes. The musical arrangement will also be broadcast on EASY 94.1.
