About
Our professional guides will lead you on a scenic tour of 8,000 acre Saddleback Ranch while riding new, easy to drive ATVs. Explore the some of the most spectacular beauty Mother Nature has to offer and learn about our ranching heritage. Get up close to our herd of 1,200 yearling angus cattle, check out our longhorn cows and calves while enjoying views of the Flattops, Mt. Werner, Sleeping Giant and the magnificent Mount Zirkel Wilderness.
All double drivers must be at least 18 years of age with a valid drivers license. Passengers 18 years old and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Single rider Honda 4-wheelers with electronic shifting automatic transmissions. Double to Six rider machines are Polaris Rangers with automatic transmissions.
All tour packages include safety and riding instruction, training course, helmet and goggles.
Driving Directions
Take HWY 40 West out of Steamboat 10 miles. At mile marker 122 take a left onto County Road 178, which will turn into County Road 179. Follow County Road 179, 3 miles across the rail road tracks, over the river and pass a housing development, the ranch is on the left side of the road.
Transportation
Special arrangements for transportation can be made for parties of 10 or more.
Hours
Open Monday though Saturday, closed on Sundays. Sunset Dinner Tour is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays. The ride times are 8:00am, 10:30am, 1:30pm, and 5:30pm. Please call for additional tour times and private tours.
