Enjoy scenic tours with Zephyr Helicopter Company featuring incredible views of North Routt County, Hahn's Peak, Steamboat Lake, Mt Werner, Strawberry Park and Emerald Mountain. We can design a custom tour anywhere in the Yampa Valley for up to 5 people, depending on total passengers' weight. There is nothing quite like a bird’s eye view of the Steamboat area when you are here on vacation! A helicopter ride makes a great gift, and is an exciting way to celebrate a special occasion.
Hours
Children must be at least 3 years of age, in their own seat with a lap belt. Children will not be permitted to ride on another passenger's lap. Small bags and personal items may travel in the helicopter at the pilot's discretion. All items must fit safely into the luggage compartment. Although the helicopter is heated, a jacket is recommended. Guests must call The Zephyr Helicopter Company at least 24 hours in advance to reconfirm their reservation.
Zephyr Helicopter Company is closed on holidays and weekends. Please contact Zephyr for special arrangements on a weekend.
Driving Directions
To the Steamboat Airport: From downtown Steamboat Springs travel west on Hwy 40 to the 7-11, and make a right onto County Rd 129 (Elk River Rd). Drive about 2 miles to the "Bob Adams Field" sign and turn left. Park in the main parking lot and walk up to the Fixed Base Operator located in the new building and ask for Zephyr Helicopter.
