Imagine a fun, informative and invigorating snowshoe with gorgeous views high up on beautiful Mt. Werner guided by a Steamboat Ambassador. Upon completing the showshoe tour you will enjoy a gourmet lunch with a refreshing glass of wine.
Tours
- Monday Tour: Departs at 9:45am and snowshoes 2 miles across Duster Trail with lunch at Ragnar's.
- Tuesday - Sunday Tour: Departs at 10am and snowshoes around the Vista Nature Trail about 1 mile with lunch at Hazie's.
Location
The Guided Gourmet Snowshoe Tour meets at the Information Center located directly across from the Main Ticket Office and Gondola building at the base of the ski area.
Hours
Available December 19, 2012 through March 31, 2013. Tuesday to Sunday Tours begin promptly at 10:00am* and Monday Tours begin promptly at 9:45am*.
* Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour to assure a timely departure.

Steamboat Ambassador Snowshoe Tour
About
The Steamboat Ambassadors conduct a free (with a lift ticket) guided snowshoe tour. The tours offer breathtaking views of the Yampa Valley and the Flat Top Mountains. Tours depart from the Information Center at the base of the Gondola daily at 1:00pm.
Snowshoe Rentals available and Foot Pass required for the gondola ride. Stop by the Information Center at the base of the mountain to sign up and rent your snowshoes, or call 970-871-5444. Footpass tickets can be purchased at the ski ticket window $20 for an adult and $10 for a child. This ticket is an all-day ticket to the top of the gondola.
Hours
Tours leave everyday at 1:00pm. Tours are offered December 11, 2011 to April 1, 2012. The Information Center is open daily from 8:00am - 5:00pm.
