Straight Talk Blogger
Steamboat Resort is seeking a volunteer blogger for the 2019/20 season. The opportunity requires accurately reporting mountain conditions as well as participating in on-mountain events and activities that provide useful information to guests about the Steamboat experience in an engaging and informative manner. The blogger will be expected to volunteer one shift per week (approx.. 5 hours) and produce a blog post with high-quality images during each shift over a nine month period (both winter and summer seasons). In addition to excellent storytelling, communication and social media skills, the volunteer must have previous experience with photography and content management systems as well as be able to produce quality content without supervision. As part of the opportunity, the volunteer will receive a year round pass to Steamboat. Candidates must complete an application and also submit a letter of interest, a resume and provide writing and photography samples.

Steamboat Resort is seeking a volunteer photographer for the 2019/20 season. The opportunity requires capturing mountain conditions as well as participating in on-mountain events and activities that provide an accurate depiction to guests about the Steamboat experience in an engaging and informative manner. The photographer will be expected to volunteer one shift per week (approx. 5 hours) and submit 5 high-quality, edited images during each shift over a nine month period (both winter and summer seasons). In addition to excellent photography skills, the volunteer must have previous experience with content management systems, provide their own editing software as well as be able to produce quality content without supervision. As part of the opportunity, the volunteer will receive a year round pass to Steamboat. Candidates must complete an application and also submit a letter of interest, a resume and photography samples.

Straight Talk Videographer
Steamboat Resort is seeking a volunteer videographer for the 2019/20 season. The opportunity requires capturing mountain conditions as well as participating in on-mountain events and activities that provide an accurate depiction to guests about the Steamboat experience in an engaging and informative manner. The videographer will be expected to volunteer one shift per week (approx. 5 hours) and shoot and edit (3) 15 to 30 second videos during each shift over a nine month period (both winter and summer seasons). In addition to excellent videography skills, the volunteer must have previous experience with content management systems, provide their own editing software as well as be able to produce quality content without supervision. As part of the opportunity, the volunteer will receive a year round pass to Steamboat. Candidates must complete an application and also submit a letter of interest, a resume and videography samples.
