The 19-hole course, located in the Thunderhead and Bashor areas, has a wonderful mixture of technical, wide open, and secluded baskets, resulting in a challenging and fun environment for disc golfers to sharpen their skills. The start of the course is located at the bottom of the Thunderhead lift at the top of Burgess Creek Road.
The Thunderhead Disc Golf course has closed for the 2017 Summer season
How do you Play? Disc golf is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or Frisbee®. The hole is an elevated metal basket. Score cards and maps are available from the Information Center and the base of the course. Please pack in/pack out as there are no trash cans at the trail head.
