Colorado River Trips Full Day This trip offers beautiful canyon scenery and easy-to-navigate whitewater for all ages and launches at 8:30am. This trip stops for a riverside lunch on the banks of the river. Lunch and beverages provided. Minimum age for this trip is 4 years. Half Day Choose between an 8:30am or 1:00pm launch time. This half day trip offers beautiful canyon scenery and easy-to-navigate whitewater fun for everyone. Minimum age for this trip is 4 years.
Driving Directions Colorado River Trips From Steamboat Springs, take Highway 40 east to Kremmling. Look for the Mad Adventures office on the right at the far end of town, just before the Kremmling Airport. Approximate driving time is 1 hour 15 minutes.
Tour Details Colorado River Upper Colorado River Rafting trips are offered daily May 26 through September 10, 2017. Clear Creek Trips 1/3 Day - 7 & up - $50 This is a beginner raft trip with Class III rapids, which are frequent and playful as you navigate your way down river. Trip launches at 12:00pm, please plan to get wet. Because the water is usually cold, wetsuits are highly suggested and are available for rent. Minimum age for this trip is 7 years.
1/2 Day - Half Day Intermediate Trip - 13 & Up - 3:00pm - $60 The Clear Creek Intermediate half day trip on class II/III/IV rapids is exciting as we incorporate the beginner section of fun rapids to build up to finish with the adventurous challenging class IV rapids.
1/2 Day Advanced Trip - 15 & Up - 9:00am - $70 The Clear Creek Advanced half day trip on class III/IV rapids is action packed and challenging. This nearly continuous section of whitewater will be an adventure! Rafters will be challenged physically and need to be ready for continuous hard paddling.
Driving Directions Clear Creek Trips From Steamboat Springs, travel US Hwy 40 east over Berthoud Pass. Hwy 40 ends at I-70. Take I-70 east toward Denver for 2 miles to Downieville/Dumont (Exit 234). As you exit at 234 turn left at the s top sign and travel under the highway. Turn right on Co Rd 308 and travel 0.7 miles. At the stop sign turn right onto Co Rd 312 and travel across the bridge over the highway. Turn right on Dumont Rd. Then make your first left up the driveway towards the brown building. Approximate drive time is 2 hours 15 minutes.

Driving Directions Follow Highway 40 east to Kremmling. Turn right on Highway 9 for 2 miles to the Trough Road (Colorado Headwaters Scenic Byway). Turn right for 14 miles to the Radium Road. Turn right and it's 2.5 miles to our headquarters in Radium.
Tour Details Colorado River Runs offers both full day and half day trips. Full day trips begin at 9:00AM. Half day trips start at 9:00AM, 1:00PM, and 4:00PM. Plan to arrive at the meeting site 20 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time. Please call 24 hours prior to trip for confirmation and details.
