Snowmobile Tours Are now available to book for the 2018/19 winter season
Along with great skiing, Steamboat Springs is known for great snowmobiling conditions and offers a large selection of tour companies to choose from. Depending on what part of the Yampa Valley you are wanting to enjoy, you will find what you are looking for.

Looking for a really unique experience? Try a snowmobile tour plus tubing adventure, or opt for the moonlight and sunset snowmobile tour followed by dinner at a remote cabin.
ELK MOUNTAIN ADVENTURE SNOWMOBILE TOURS
Elk Mountain Adventures offers endless miles of open meadows and spectacular views on 50,000 acres of private land.

Full day tours include a 5-hour ride, door to door transportation, professional guide, helmet, outerwear, and lunch. Half day tours do not include transportation or lunch, and guests must drive themselves to the meeting place in Hayden, Colorado. Offered Monday through Thursday, December 17, 2018 - March 28, 2019

For experienced riders, Elk Mountain Adventures presents the The Clay Hockel Pro Ride Experience, the next step in enhancing your back country skills! Spend your day with professional rider, Clay Hockel, whether you're seeking an ultimate adventure or a chance to improve your riding ability. Learn the next level of riding the steep and deep with an experience tailored specifically to you. Offered Friday through Sunday, January 4 - March 31, 2019.

Riders must be at least 15 years old with learner's permit. Drivers only, no passengers. Maximum 4 participants. Please call us at 800-922-2722 for groups of 5 or more.

Driving Directions
Transportation is included for Full Day 5 Hour and Pro Tours. Half Day Tours will drive themselves to the meeting place: Hwy 40 West into Hayden, CO (approximately 27 miles from Steamboat) turn right on North 2nd, continue 1 block to the Granary. 198 E. Lincoln, Hayden, CO 81639.


STEAMBOAT SNOWMOBILE TOURS
Steamboat Snowmobile Tours offers Rabbit Ears Pass Guided Snowmobile Tours and High Mountain Guided Snowmobile Tours.

Rabbit Ears Tours
Discover the magic of snowmobiling Colorado’s Continental Divide on Rabbit Ears Pass. The extensive trail system is a snowmobiler’s dream. Located in the middle of the Routt National Forest, with views extending to Wyoming your ride will take you through tree lined trails and to big open meadows where your guide will give you free time to play around. These tours are available for all ability levels. Closed Christmas Day. Drivers must be at least 16 years old. Drivers with passenger must be at least 18 years old. Minimum age is 3 years old.

The dinner tour on Rabbit Ears Pass takes you over moonlit snowfields through a Rocky Mountain wonderland on world-class snowmobiles. Explore breathtaking expanses of Champagne Powder® and rugged peaks on a snowmobile ride along the Continental Divide, then dine just below a 10,000 foot peak in our secluded mountain cabin.

Dinner is your choice of Grilled Ribeye Steak, Rocky Mountain Trout or Fire Roasted Chicken with a Vegetarian menu also available. The dinner tour (Moonlight & Sunset) is offered on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Complimentary shuttle service is provided by Steamboat Snowmobile Tours at select pick-up locations in town and on the mountain. Please call 24 hours in advance to re-confirm your meeting time and pick up location. Guest are asked to please be outside, ready and waiting for the white vans.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
If you decide to drive from Steamboat Springs, travel approximately 15 miles up Rabbit Ears Pass (towards Denver). The turn off for our cabin is between mile markers 151 and 152 on the right hand side. Turn right onto a groomed/plowed road which leads to the parking area near our cabin.

HIGH MOUNTAIN SNOWMOBILE TOURS
High Mountain Snowmobile Tours offers scenic guided snowmobile tours through incredible terrain overlooking the Mount Zirkel Wilderness area near Clark, Colorado. These tours are for the higher ability levels, including experts. Riders will experience custom groomed trails that wind through beautiful high mountain meadows and up onto scenic ridges. Drivers must be at least 16 years of age, and drivers with passengers must be at least 18 years of age. Minimum is 3 years old.
Closed Christmas Day.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
If you decide to drive instead of taking advantage of the pick-up service, then Take Hwy 40 west to RCR 129, and go north on RCR 129 sixteen miles to Clark. Turn right on RCR 64 (Seedhouse Road) and go five miles to the end of the plowed road at the Meeting cabin.


Saddleback Ranch snowmobile tours
Saddleback Ranch offers Guided Snowmobile Tours over groomed trails and open free ride meadows on private land. Enjoy views of the Flattops, Mt. Werner, Sleeping Giant and the Zirkels.

2 passenger 2012 - 2017 Skidoo 4 stroke snowmobiles. These machines are designed to be easier to operate, offering smooth acceleration throttle control and producing an efficient clean fuel, "no smell", exhaust. After your ride, warm up at headquarters with a cup of hot chocolate and a freshly baked cookie. A 15% Gratuity for Saddleback Ranch will be added to your reservation.

Must be at least 16 years old to drive.

Transportation
Transportation is provided with pick-up at your lodging property. Sunset tour pick up is at the Gondola Transit Center.
