Tubing Steamboat Come to historic Howelsen Hill in downtown Steamboat Springs for the ride of a lifetime. Ride the magic carpet to the top and come screaming down on a snow tube provided at the hill. This is a must-do experience for all ages.
Activity Details Children must be 4 years old or 36” tall, and be able to ride in their own tube, no kids on laps are permitted. Every child age 5 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are recommended. Reservations required, if booked within 48 hours must be booked directly with Tubing Steamboat, 970-819-8010, open 1:00 to 6:30pm.

Driving Directions Located just steps from Lincoln Avenue in downtown Steamboat Springs. Walk across the bridge at Ningth Street or drive across the Yampa River at Fifth Street and turn right on Howelsen Parkway. Reservations include tube rental and lift ticket. Check in 15 minutes prior to reservation time at the ticket office located in the Howelsen Hill Parking lot.
SADDLEBACK RANCH Strap on your spurs, pull down your hat and ride Saddleback Ranch's Yee-Haw Tubing Hill. The hill is groomed and equipped with a state of the art tube-tow lift system that attaches itself to the tube to transport you back to the top. From there, speed down the hill on a large inner tube provided by the ranch. At the bottom, warm up in the Longhorn Warming Lodge, grab a bite to eat or a warm drink from the concession stand and hit the slope again.
Activity Details Tubing sessions are each 1.5 hours. Snow tubing is suitable for kids and adults of all ages. All riders must sign waiver, if under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Children under five are free but must ride with a paying adult.
Hours Offered December 16 - March 28, Wednesday - Monday. *Closed on Tuesdays. Closed Christmas Eve & Day, New Years Eve and Winter Carnival Sunday 2/7/16. Closed on Thursdays in January.
Located just 15 miles west of Steamboat Springs, pick-up and drop-off is at the transit center on Mt. Werner Circle. Pick up at Mt. Werner Transit Center (lanes 1, 2, and 3) 10:00am, 1:15pm, and 4:30pm daily.
