For convenience’s sake, we can call Forever On the Run Kimberly Dunn’s official debut, although the vibrant young artist already has a couple of EPs and countless performances under her belt. She’s played to thousands of Texas music fans from Corpus Christi to Lubbock, entertaining crowds both on her own and as the opening act for artists such as Randy Rogers, Aaron Watson, Bart Crow, Kyle Park and Granger Smith. So go ahead and call Forever On the Run Dunn’s “debut.” And take the album’s title as a promise that this unstoppable A-girl is dead set on continuing to chase her dream for as long and as far as her heart desires.
But know this, too: She’s already arrived. After heating things up on the Outdoor Stage last January, Kimberly put on a beautiful acoustic performance in the all-new MusicFest Media Lounge, as well as participating in a song swap with fellow songsmiths Kyle Park, Trent Willmon, and Charlie Robison.
Concerts begin at 1:00pm on the Steamboat Stage in Gondola Square.
