Sunset Happy Hour
Join us for a beautiful sunset and view of the valley with signature cocktails and appetizers. $15 includes Gondola ride and $5 off food or beverage of your choice with ticket. This is a lively cocktail event with music. 21 and older recommended. Upload between 5:00 – 7:45 p.m. If you are a 2016/17 Steamboat season, Steamboat 15 day, or Steamboat 8 day passholder your admittance is free, plus you may bring one guest to each happy hour during the 2016/17 winter season. Be the first to enjoy the mountain! Access the First Tracks terrain early by boarding the gondola between 8:00am and 8:15am. You'll have special access to terrain from the Sundown Express, Sunshine and South Peak lifts and the famous Priest Creek area before anyone else. Night Skiing & Riding
Just because the daylight ends, doesn’t mean the fun does. Cruise down 1,100 vertical feet of terrain. Christie Peak Express whisks you to top of Christie Peak where you embark on your night adventure across 5 trails. Night Skiing is open Thursday - Monday evenings from 5:30 - 830pm. haymaker nordic center & clubhouse
Experience over 10km of Cross Country (Classic and Skate) and 6km of Snowshoe trails, open daily 9am-4pm. Cross country ski and snowshoe rentals are available onsite. Lessons are offered daily for Classic and Skate skiing. After your time on the trails, warm your toes by the fire in the Nordic Clubhouse, and enjoy a hearty lunch featuring house made soups, salads, burgers and a variety of sandwiches. Lunch specials include $6 for a double Boat Burger. Lunch is served 11:00am-3:00pm. The Haymaker Nordic Center and Clubhouse is located east of town at @ 34855 US-40, Steamboat Springs, just a few minutes from the Ski Area Base.learn more

GUIDED GOURMET SNOWSHOE LUNCH
Join a Steamboat Ambassador for an informative snowshoe tour followed by a gourmet lunch at Hazie’s restaurant. Tours depart daily from the Information Center at 10:00am; please arrive at the Information Center by 9:30am. The cost is $65 and includes gondola ride, guide, lunch, glass of wine, tax and gratuity. Take a mountain tour and discover finer points of the mountain, town and history of the valley. Intermediate and advanced skiers and riders are welcome. Show up at the “Mountain Tour” sign at the top of Vagabond Trail (top of the gondola). Tours start at 10:30am, last approximately 1 ½ hours and are free.Learn More
Ski with Billy Kidd
Join Steamboat's Director of Skiing, 1964 Olympic Silver Medalist and World Champion Billy Kidd, for some free pointers and a run-down Heavenly Daze. Check the sign at the top of the gondola to see if Billy is skiing today, and join him in front of the BK sign at the top of Why Not at 1:00pm. For intermediate and advanced skiers and riders.
Nelson on Nelson's
Nelson Carmichael, Olympic Bronze Medalist and World Cup Mogul Champion, hosts a free mogul clinic on Nelson’s Run on select Sundays. Check the grooming report to see if Nelson is skiing and meet at the Nelson’s sign outside the Four Points Lodge.
MOONLIT SNOWSHOE TOURS WITH DINNER AT HAZIE'S
Friday and Saturday. Depart from the Information Center in Gondola Square at 5:30pm, upload the gondola at 6:00pm. The tour lasts about one hour, ending at Hazie’s for dinner. $89 for adults and $69 for children ages 10-12 (min age is 10 yrs). Reservations required 24 hours in advance.Learn More

GUIDED SKI NATURE TOURS
Join a Yampatika Naturalist for an interpretive ski tour providing information on the forest and mountain. Meet at the top of the Why Not Trail by 1:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays through March 17, 2016. Participants must possess a valid daily lift ticket or season pass to access lifts.
STEAMBOAT MOUNTAIN MASTERS
A daily complimentary ski tour for skiers and riders 50 years of age and over on blue or black groomed trails. The group is led by local guides and departs at 9:00am daily. Meet by the Billy Kidd Statue in Gondola Square.Learn More
NASTAR TRAINING COURSE
Steamboat offers NASTAR racing daily from 10:00am until 1:00pm in the Bashor Race Arena. Try for your fastest time in this National Standard Race, and receive race times, access to online race results and rankings, and medals. $12 for unlimited runs.
