Put on your cowboy hat for a western experience your whole family can enjoy! Rodeo was a part of the culture of Steamboat Springs well before the town was incorporated over 100 years ago; and it's a tradition that is still every bit as dynamic and exciting today.
Dates and Times
The Rodeo performance is every Friday and Saturday night from June 21 to August 17, 2019 at 7:30pm. Gates open at 5:30pm and live music starts at 6:00pm with a BBQ dinner offered for an additional charge. There are additional Rodeo performances on July 3rd and 4th. Children 6 years old and younger get free admission.

4th of July Performance
Come visit the Pro Rodeo for a true western experience on the 4th of July, with a perfect view of the fireworks. The show begins at 6:30pm, but if you would like to eat and listen to live music, plan on coming earlier, BBQ and live music start at 5:00pm. The fireworks display will follow the performance with prime viewing from your seat.

Watch some of the top professional bull riders in the world try to ride the rankest bulls, with over 40 cowboys competing for prize money. This is an open seating, general admission event on September 1, 2019. Gates open at 3:00pm and show begins at 5:00pm.

Driving Directions
The rodeo takes place at Romick Arena in the Howelsen Hill Park Complex (501 Howelsen Parkway) located in downtown Steamboat Springs on the corner of Fifth Street and Howelsen Parkway across the Yampa River.

Pick up tickets at the front ticket booth at the event entrance of Romick Arena on the rodeo grounds. Rodeo grounds are located at 5th Street and Howelsen Parkway. Gates open at 5:30pm (4:30pm on July 4th).
