Snow Tubing at Historic Howelsen Hill is fun for all ages (riders must be at least 36" tall). Tube rental and lift included. Snow Tubing sessions are 1 hour long. The tubing hill is located in the center of Downtown Steamboat, on the free bus route. The Outrun Snack Bar is open inside the Howelsen Hill Lodge for food and drinks.
Open Monday through Sunday, 10:00am to 6:00pm. The last available time slot begins at 5:00pm (closed daily from 2:00pm to 3:00pm for grooming).

Closed on Christmas day. Early closing (last time session is 3pm) on Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, and February 7th.
Located downtown Steamboat Springs at Howelsen Hill Ski Area - 845 Howelsen Hill Parkway. Meet in the Tubing Gazebo 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. The gazebo is located near the first parking area, across from the baseball fields. Please arrive no later than 15 minutes prior to your reservation time. Signed waivers are required.

• Online waiver must be completed for every rider before tubing.

• All riders must be at least 36" tall.

• No lap riding is permitted. All riders, including children, must have their own ticket and tube (provided).

• Riders 12 and Under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

• Helmets are recommended but not required.

• Outside tubes and sledding devices are not permitted.

• No outside food and drink permitted.

• Hard shell boots such as ski boots are not permitted. Dress warmly in layers with comfortable winter boots.

• Please show up at least 15 minutes before scheduled time slot to check in. Time slots are on the hour and cannot be modified to accommodate late arrivals.

• Advanced purchased/reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak holiday periods. Walk up purchases are not guaranteed.

• Riders must obey all signage and staff instruction.

• Riders are not allowed to tube on their stomach.

• Riders must not be under the influence of alcohol or other substances.
