With the snow rapidly melting, Steamboat Ski Resort turns its attention to summer operations slated to open for weekends Friday, May 23, 2025 with the Steamboat Gondola and access to hiking trails including Guided Hike & Lunch, yard games on Skeeter’s Lawn, rental and retail, Oasis Grill at the top of Thunderhead Lodge and the lower level of The Range Food & Drink Hall.

Daily summer operations kick off June 13 and will feature Coca Cola Movies on the Mountain, Stranahan’s Summer Concert Series, Captain of the Boat Bike Series, Gravity Girls, Sunset Happy Hour and weekly Yoga on the Mountain throughout.

In addition to regular summer operations, Wild Blue Gondola will operate whisking guests up to mid-station for access to intermediate and beginner biking terrain, as well as on-mountain services at Greenhorn Ranch, starting on June 13.
