Starting with a low seed and staring down the barrel of big matchups, Steamboat Springs proved Cinderella stories do exist by coming out on top in Powder Magazine’s Ski Town Throwdown competition. With more than 45,000 votes in the final round, Steamboat edged out Red Mountain in British Columbia to take the title in the month-long online contest.
