Scenic Chairlift Ride at Howelsen Hill

Enjoy the panoramic views of the Yampa Valley and Steamboat Ski Resort. You can access the hiking trails on the Emerald Mountain trail system, and return after a hike, or bike, to ride the chairlift back down. (NOTE: must arrive back to the top of the chair at least 15 minutes before the lift closes).

Mountain Bike Lift Tickets are available on-site. The Chairlift provides transport for a mountain bike and its rider to the top of the Barrows chair for access to the Emerald Mountain trail system. Bike Helmets are required.

Ticket Information

Scenic lift ticket is Valid for 1 ride up and down. Scenic lift with bike transport ticket is valid for 1 ride up. Pick-up tickets on-site at the yurt by the base of the chairlift at Howelsen Hill. Tickets are not date specific and can be used any day that the slide is open, weather permitting. All participants must sign a liability release prior to picking up their tickets.
