Internationally-inspired Colorado Cuisine
After many years in a dirt-covered shack above Clark in North Routt, Ed and Hazie Werner moved the family to downtown Steamboat so that the kids could attend school. By 1950 the entire family had moved into the Craftsman style home now known as the Werner House, where Buddy, Bugs and Skeeter would spend the holidays with their parents and Hazie’s mother Neva.

Come join us in Hazie’s restaurant where we will share with you the same Steamboat holiday spirit that resonated through Hazie’s home and we will capture the Rocky Mountain flavor that permeated Hazie’s kitchen. We will prepare you for a day on the slopes with the same enthusiasm that propelled Hazie to nourish her three children, who then went on to epitomize a generation of winter sports heroes. We can’t wait to see you.
