Steamboat 4th of July Bash
Celebrate Independence Day at the Steamboat 4th of July Bash. An evening filled with live music, dancing, family fun, retro Americana vibes, with a summer celebration in the heart of the mountains. This year’s bash is packed with throwback fun as Steamboat Square transforms into the ultimate 80’s inspired party.
The festivities begin in the afternoon with family activities including Strider bike decorating and a festive Strider bike parade. Then the celebration shifts into full party mode with DJ dance sets, themed food and drinks, a costume/ dance contest and a performance from 6 Million Dollar Band.
Roll into the celebration at our retro inspired roller rink open from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Skate rentals will be available on site, making it easy to jump in and enjoy the throwback fun. Cruise with friends, dance on skates, and take in the music and mountain views.
As the sun sets over the mountains, the energy turns all the way up with live music, dancing and nonstop summer vibes under the evening sky. Come dressed in your best retro Americana gear, neon colors, denim, stars and stripes, leg warmers, or vintage party looks and get ready to celebrate.

3:00 to 5:00 PM | Free Strider Bike Decorating
Bring your own Strider bike and get creative with patriotic and throwback decorations. The decoration tent will be on the grass across from Christie Peak Express Lift and decorations will be provided.
5:00 PM | Strider Bike Parade Through Steamboat Square
A festive parade for riders ages 5 and under.
5:30 to 7:30 PM | Throwback DJ Dance Party & Costume Contest
Get the party started with throwback hits, dancing, and plenty of chances to join the fun. Our roaming prize squad will be rewarding the best costumes, dance moves, and party spirit throughout the crowd.
7:30 to 9:30 PM | Steamboat Mountain Music Summer Concert presented by Aperol Featuring the 6 Million Dollar Band
An electrifying live concert packed with crowd favorites and nonstop energy.
9:30 to 10:30 PM | DJ After Party Under the Stars
Keep the celebration going with a high-energy dance party featuring throwback favorites and summer anthems.
Please note: There will not be a Drone Show at the 2026 Steamboat 4th of July Bash. This year's celebration focuses on music, skating, dancing, and retro summer fun throughout Steamboat Square.

The Range Food & Drink Hall, T&T Grill, and a variety of food trucks will be serving up delicious eats and tasty sips all evening long.

Be sure to visit the pop-up merchandise shop in the square to grab a limited-edition Steamboat 4th of July T-shirt while supplies last.
