Friday, January 16
Join us for an unforgettable MLK Weekend celebration in Steamboat—an evening where art, food, and community come together in a truly immersive experience. The evening will feature a soul food dinner inspired by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s favorite dishes, with recipes curated by James Beard Award–winning author and celebrity culinary historian Adrian Miller. Adrian will be on site to guide guests through the meal, sharing the history, meaning, and cultural stories behind each course, paired with thoughtfully selected wines served throughout dinner.
We're thrilled to highlight two exceptional contributors:
Adrian Miller - culinary historian, author, and speaker whose work on soul food and American culture has earned a James Beard Foundation Award and National acclaim. His storytelling helps us understand food as history, identity, and community. Learn more about Adrian.
Lamont Joseph White - a multidisciplinary artist whose work centers representation, inclusion, and culture through vibrant imagery, joy and thought provoking creativity. His perspective enriches the conversation around space, identity, and belonging. Explore Lamont's, work.
