See Santa Saddle Up, Steamboat is excited to bring back the tradition of the Santa Horseback Procession. Santa will ride into the resort from the Torian Plum Area down the slopes into the heart of Steamboat Square escorted by legendary locals Bob Dapper and Dean Vogelaar. This happens promptly at 1pm and takes just a few minutes so be sure to be here early not to miss it. Immediately following the ride Santa will be available on the Steamboat Stage to visit with guests and take pictures. Complimentary hot chocolate and cupcakes will be available and enjoy free gift wrapping at all Steamboat Sports locations and the Giddy Up Trailer in Steamboat Square.

1:00 PM – Santa’s Grand Horseback Procession
Experience the magic as Santa rides in on horseback from the Northside Parking Lot to the Steamboat Base Area. Wave to the jolly man himself as he makes his grand entrance into the holiday festivities. This happens quickly, so don’t be late.
1:15–3:00 PM – Photos with Santa
Capture the magic of the season with a photo alongside Santa on the Steamboat Stage! Be sure to hop in line by 3:00 PM, as Santa has a busy schedule and must return to the North Pole to prepare for Christmas. We'll do our best to accommodate everyone, but don’t wait too long—Santa’s sleigh won’t wait!
1:15–4:00 PM – Complimentary Hot Chocolate & Cupcakes
Warm up with rich hot chocolate and indulge in delightful cupcakes available in Steamboat Square while supplies last.
1:15–3:00 PM – Horse Photo Ops
The beautiful horses from Santa's procession will stay in Steamboat Square for photos. Don't miss this chance to snap a unique holiday picture!
5:30–5:45 PM – Spectacular Holiday Drone Show
As the day turns to evening, look to the skies for a mesmerizing display of holiday lights and magic during our enchanting drone show.
6:00 PM – Delayed Opening for Night Skiing
Hit the slopes for a winter adventure night skiing will begin at 6:00pm
6:00–7:30 PM – Holiday Skate Party
End the day with a spin around the ice! Glide to festive tunes at our Holiday Skate Party and make unforgettable memories with family and friends.
