3:45–6:30 PM | In Steamboat Square the excitement continues with the Sun Cruiser's Free Concert featuring with The Motet, sensory delight with a Hot Air Balloon Glow and U.S. Team Athlete Autograph Session.

3:45 PM |The Motet takes the Steamboat Stage. With 26 years, nine albums, and over a thousand shows behind them, the genre-bending group brings their signature energy and powerful new lead vocalist, Sarah Clarke, for a performance that’s as fiery as ever.


5:30 PM - 6:30PM | Autograph session
with participating U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes. Guests have the chance to meet the athletes, celebrate the competition, and have a complimentary event poster signed as a keepsake.


5:30PM - 6:30PM |Balloon Glow -
Cap off Visa Big Air finals with an evening hot air balloon glow in Steamboat Square. As the sun sets, hot air balloons will light their flames to illuminate the square. Guests can stroll among the balloons or take in the views inside either The Range or Timber and Torch.


Timber & Torch and The Range will be open throughout the evening. Guests have the chance to warm up by the fire, enjoy dinner and drinks, and soak in the festivities as we close out Visa Big Air World Cup in style.

The Visa Big Air venue is located on the Park Smalley Freestyle Complex, with ski and snowboard access from Christie Peak Express lift.

Recommended Access – Ski/Ride
The easiest and most direct way to reach the venue is by skiing or riding via the Sitz–Vogue intermediate trail via the Christie Peak Express lift.

Uphill Hiking Access – Limited Availability
- A designated uphill access route will be available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of the event for spectators on foot.
- Route Start: From the base area, beginning just to the right of the Steamboat Gondola when looking uphill.
- Distance & Difficulty: Approximately 0.75 miles with elevation change, uneven terrain, variable snow conditions, and changing surface types.
This is not an easy hike. Please plan accordingly.
- Recommended Gear: Yaktrax or similar traction devices, sturdy footwear, and poles.
- Safety: Hike at your own risk and always remain on the marked trail.
Uphill access is only permitted on the designated route during event days and will not be available outside these times.
